Acme Monaco manufactures custom medical springs and catheter coils designed to meet the demanding requirements of minimally invasive devices. Our offerings include precision-formed compression, extension, and torsion springs, as well as flat coils and catheter reinforcement components, all tailored to customer specifications. With decades of experience in spring engineering and in-house equipment design, we deliver consistent quality and performance across a wide range of medical applications.
Springs
Standard wire sizes from 0.003" to 0.098" with a wide range of materials and finishes available.
We offer spring design assistance and training for your engineering staff.
Coils
Catheter coils, guidewire coils, and radiopaque markers. Available in both round and flat wire. PTFE pre-coating is available on round wires and flat wires can have post-coated PTFE. PTFE heat shrink over coils is also available. Closed, constant pitch or variable pitch. Deburred ends free from ID obstruction.
Available in 302, 304, or 316 stainless steel, nickel titanium, or various radiopaque materials.
Medical Spring Coiling:
- Round and flat wire options available
- Standard wire diameters: 0.002" - 0.015"
- Standard OD: 0.014" - 0.070"
- NiTi length: coils up to 120 cm
- Stainless steel length: coils up to 300 cm
PTFE Pre-Coated Coils:
- Smallest coil diameter is traditionally 0.025"
- Diameter can go down to 0.022" depending on configuration of spring
- Longest coil offering is 300 cm
