Snap Rings
Acme Monaco’s snap rings (retaining rings), which include internal, external, and specialty rings, are dependable, tight, burr free, clean cut, and concentric in the assembled position. We can manufacture complex custom snap ring designs to tight tolerances. Our unique process and proprietary engineering software allow us to produce snap rings with the highest performance to ensure the success of your application.
Internal Rings
These rings are manufactured to compress into a bore diameter and assemble or “snap” into an internal groove for retention.
The rings are elliptical in the free state to ensure maximum contact in the assembled position.
External Rings
These rings are designed to expand over a shaft and “snap” into a groove for assorted retention applications.
Specialty Rings
The parameters of establishing the specifications, physical properties, and characteristics of custom-made retaining rings include:
