Technical summary, scope, and applications
Our guidewires are known for elegant flexibility and feature a relatively stiff elongated body portion and a guidable distal tip that ensures optimal performance. Packaging takes place in four Class 8 – 100,000 compliant clean rooms, providing a contamination-free environment that meets the highest industry standards.
- Diameters range from 0.014" (0.36 mm) to 0.080" (2.03 mm)
- Lengths span from 20 cm to 500 cm with custom lengths available
- Tip designs include straight, angled, radius, "J", and pigtail configurations
- Coating options include PTFE, uncoated, or custom coatings
Construction Types
We offer guidewires constructed using standard full spring, Lunderquist, or moveable core designs, utilizing high-grade stainless steel types 302, 304, and 316. Superior core materials such as 304V stainless and nickel titanium are available.
Slidewire® Polymer Jacketed Guidewires:
- Engineered for precise 1:1 torque response
- Outer diameters from 0.014" to 0.052"
- Nickel titanium core with custom material options
- Black polymer jacket with tungsten for radiopacity
- Optional radiopaque markers for improved visibility
Packaging
Standard bulk shipping is in non-sterile double polybags. Additional packaging options are available:
- Circular dispenser with clip connectors
- Single loop dispenser
- Standard, non-sterile peel pouch labeled with your company name, lot number, and date
- Custom labeling with your company name and logo, graphic art, and technical data
